And here we are again! Ready to celebrate the pursuit of the impossible.
As we enter our eighth year of celebrating the Allan Slaight Awards for Magic Excellence, we offer our profound thanks and gratitude to the Slaight Family Foundation for raising awareness and recognition to the art of magic. To date, the foundation has given away an astonishing $350,000 to acknowledge great work and contributions to magic through this program.
Next week, we will continue the tradition.
And, it is a great thrill and joy to share that not only will we announce the recipients for 2022, but this year, we are also ADDING a second award to the Sharing Secrets category.
That’s right. This year, the Slaight Family Foundation is giving away an incredible $60,000 in recognition of exceptional contributions to the art of magic by extraordinary individuals in these categories:
- Canadian Rising Star
- International Rising Star
- Sharing Secrets (there are two!)
- Sharing Wonder
- Lifetime Achievement
In addition, the foundation also is providing an engraved iPad to each recipient to commemorate this momentous occasion.
