This award recognizes the exceptional commitment to magic by the dedicated efforts of an individual over a lifetime. It comes with an engraved iPad, and a prize of $15,000 from the Slaight Family Foundation. It has been a privilege to honour past recipients—Johnny Thompson, Ton Onosaka and Max Maven—for their lifelong contributions to the art.
