The Allan Slaight Awards celebrate excellence in magic. Initiated in 2015, the awards are named after Canadian businessman and philanthropist Allan Slaight in honour of his significant contributions to the art of magic. Discover how these awards were created, and why they are so important and meaningful, especially to the magic community.

2022 was a special year where we recognized six recipients—two for the Sharing Wonder category—distributing $60,000. That means, to date, the Slaight Family Foundation has given away an astonishing $410,000 to celebrate excellence in magic. Meet this year’s recipients.
