The Allan Slaight Awards celebrate excellence in magic. Initiated in 2015, the awards are named after Canadian businessman and philanthropist Allan Slaight (1931-2021) in honour of his significant contributions to the art of magic. Discover how these awards were created, and why they are so important and meaningful to the magic community.
In 2024, we celebrated five exceptional individuals in five different categories, from emerging artists to those who have made incredible achievements over a lifetime—and a lot of sharing in between. The Slaight Family Foundation has now given away an incredible $510,000 in acknowledgement and recognition of those in pursuit of the impossible. Meet this year’s roster of recipients.
